AMANDA KEELEY

Canadian singer-songwriter Amanda Keeley has swiftly carved a niche for herself as a spellbinding indie-folk artist. Her music, imbued with the raw, emotional depth of a seasoned soul, draws listeners into an intimate world of lyrical storytelling and melodic artistry.

Keeley’s voice, often likened to the resonant tones of Sara Bareilles, the heartfelt authenticity of Brandi Carlile, and the haunting melancholy of City and Colour, serves as a bridge between the timeless traditions of folk and the contemporary sensibilities of modern music.

Her musical style is a tapestry of sound that reflects a myriad of influences. From the earthy strums of folk to the sultry cadences of r&b, and the catchy hooks of pop, Amanda’s music is a fusion of genres that creates a sound uniquely her own. Her performances are akin to a soul-stirring odyssey, characterized by the ethereal lift of her high registers and her silky, grounded lows.

Amanda Keeley’s musical vision is a testament to her versatility and dedication to her craft. Her 2022 debut single, “White Light,” perfectly showcased her prowess as a singer-songwriter, with a glimpse of what was yet to come. This bluesy, folk-rock anthem encapsulated her ability to blend powerful storytelling with a robust, evocative sound. Following the critical success of “White Light,” Amanda has continued to release more magnetic music while working towards the completion of her self-supported debut album. Singles ‘Better Days' (2024) and ‘Going Home’ (2025) further solidified her as a rising talent.

Currently working with acclaimed producer Jim Bryson on new music (next single 'Dead & Gone' to be released in 2026) she is an artist destined to leave a lasting impression. Keep an ear out for this rising talent, as she is certain to leave an indelible mark on the indie-folk landscape and beyond.

ABOUT THE SONG: “Going Home”

release date: September 26, 2025 “

“Going Home” was in part written as a letter to myself. Writing this gave me an opportunity to reflect on where I’ve been, where I’ve longed to be and a celebration of the love and acceptance I found for myself. It’s about finding my way back to me, making my way back home. It was also written for the listener, that they may relate with some of the everyday challenges of navigating this journey of life. My hope is it provides some comfort and reassurance that we are not alone and there is love here for all of us.”
